Cupping
Cupping is one of the traditional healing methods and is a very effective cure for many diseases and ailments. The Schoenerie uses dry scrub and cupping massage, usually in combination with an acupuncture meridian treatment or a classic massage.
When drying, cupping glasses are placed on the skin. By means of the cupping heads a suction effect is triggered, whereby blood circulation, lymph flow and metabolism are stimulated. By acting on meridians, connective tissue and reflex zones a soothing, analgesic and generally circulation-promoting and thus holistic effect can be achieved. The aim of cupping is to strengthen the organism's self-healing powers or to set them in motion only when they are not capable of doing so.
The cupping massage is massaged with a cupping head on the oiled skin. The circulation-promoting effect is much stronger than with a normal massage. As with cupping, extravasation (bruising) or petechiae (small red bleeding) may occur in some places. These are signs of a stasis that can now dissolve and lymph and blood flow can flow in this area again.

Gua Sha
Gua Sha is a simple yet effective treatment that is also used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
The oiled skin is scraped with a special scraper, a jade stone or a buffalo horn. This causes the skin to redden in most cases, sometimes causing petechiae and bruises. This is quite a desired effect: scraping with light pressure opens the superficial blood vessels and stimulates the blood circulation.

Acupuncture Meridian Massage
As a form of energy therapy, acupuncture meridian massage combines Western and Eastern philosophies.
Invisible energy pathways, known as meridians, run through the human body. They allow energy (Qi) to flow through the body, forming a cycle. If this energy flow is disrupted, certain areas may develop dysfunctions due to an excess or deficiency of energy.
Gentle massage of the meridians and acupuncture points using an acupuncture stick restores the flow of energy. This helps to activate and strengthen the body’s self-healing powers and immune system. The treatment can be energetically rounded off with a brief head and foot massage afterwards. Depending on individual needs, the treatment can also be combined with cupping or a cupping head massage.
